Prayer Request(s) & Praises

Ethan is getting baptized!!!  Actually, he has been asking about it for a while now and we truly believe that he is spirtually ready.  Its gonna be on Sunday, November 11 at the 10:30am service.  So please come and join us.  But if for whatever reason you are unable to make it to the Baptism, we invite you to come and join us for LUNCH at our house afterwards (probably around 1:00pm or so).  We will do Enzo’s belated birthday celebration as well.Schedule:

…sometimes God puts us in situations that provokes us just to see how much we (really) trust Him and how we react to certain things He puts in front of us.  Not too long ago, God has blessed us with a new vehicle (see photo below).  The deal was okay, but you know how it is, the more you add to it the higher the price/payments goes.  But after about a week, we got a call from the dealership stating that there were descrepancies on our paperwork and they may need to reverse the process, but they’ll do there best to make it work.  Of course, natural human (Christian or non) tendencies, you will stress out (actually more freak out).  But something deep inside told us that everything is undercontrol. 

We finally drove back to the dealership and yes, God is in control.  We stressed out (actually freaked out) for nothing.  It was a blessing in disguise.  Now, why didn’t I see that coming?  Anyhow, in a nutshell, we had to resign the contract.  But check this out: our interest rates were lowered, our monthly payments were lowered, we got 48months/60,000 mile extended warranty (we originally got a 60-day warranty), 5-year tire hazzard, and a 4-year roadside assistance.   WOW!

Praise:  We got approved for heathly kids insurance for Ethan!  We were stressin’ a little bit because it’s a pricey to acquire insurance from work, but God answered our prayers.

Praise:  God provides for all our needs.  We had bought a van 4.5 months ago and all it did was gave us headaches.  It was nice and the features were cool (stow-n-go) seats, but its been possesed for some strange reason.  All the lights and instruments flickered (all the time) as if an undentified flying object (U.F.O.) was hoovering from the top… ’nuff said, we decided to trade it back in for this Brand Spankin’ New Used Vehicle.  Its a 2005 Jeep Liberty 3.7L Limited Edition.

Praise: Dispite of his high level of acid activity, everything thing checked out normal.  Praise God!  He did better than we thought.  He did not mess with the tube running down his nose.

Prayer: Enzo is going through several proceedures for this next couple of weeks. Due to his bad acid reflux, the GI is doing a barium test [today] and other reevaluations and tests. Then next week, he’ll under go a biopsy to see how bad his reflux is. They will also insert a monitoring tube down is nose for 24hrs [hope he doesnt yank it out] to monitor his reflux activty.So please pray that everything would check out ok and that Enzo will cooperate during these proceedures.
